A work in progress

It is so exciting to begin a project like this one. To think this room will belong to someone who isn't here yet and no one even knows what he looks like! Of course he is loved so much already and that's what makes this project so gratifying and I can't help but smile even though I'm nearly 7 months pregnant and getting put to work!

First things first we had to remove everything office related and move it downstairs so we can start with an empty room.

     



Then my ever so handy father in law started closing up the wall...

And then Scott and I started painting! That's right, I helped! I put up the tape and did a bit of the trimming. Needless to say, Scott did a great job. There were doubts after he showed his painting skills when we moved in but he totally redeemed himself :)

  

Next up is the chair rail, door and ceiling fan to replace that nasty chandelier. Then of course all the furniture! We can't wait to see the finished product! :) Keep you posted! xo
