Outdoor Shenanigans

 Scott is out in the yard chopping down trees and all kinds of stuff back there. We want to take out everything along the fence and just put down grass seed. We can get a much bigger yard by doing this and it won't look so overgrown and nasty.

  While chopping down bushes and trees he accidentally knocked down a birds nest and a baby bird fell out! :( Scott put it back into the nest and then found a new location in a nearby tree. The momma bird found them after only 15 minutes or so...yay! :)

We have done some other good work in the yard. By 'we' I mean Scott. I stay strictly indoors except when I sat on the deck yesterday watching Scott do yard work and I just got sunburned :(

It was a beautiful day to sit out on the deck.

Scott put in lattice under the deck. It makes it look so much better!

Scott tore out all the overgrown weeds and such. He put in mulch and stone as well as some flowers! This is at the very corner of our property where, as you can see, we have a U.S Postal mailbox so everyone sees it. Now they have something pretty to look at!

Our yard in April

Here is a view of our house from the corner of our property. Looks much different then it did in April when we first started and we are very happy with it.
